Refund and Return Policy
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires physical possession of the goods.
Please note: For a full refund, it's important that you return the product in its original condition and undamaged. Make sure the product is properly and securely packaged for return shipping. If we receive the product damaged or incomplete, we may deduct money from the refund amount.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we'll send you an email to notify you that we've received your returned item. We'll also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven't received a refund yet, please check your bank account again first.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

For the delivery of goods - Consequences of revocation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will reimburse you using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your decision to cancel this contract to us.
You meet the deadline if you return the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Swap
We only replace items if they are received defective or damaged. If you need to exchange the same item, please email us at info@holdbarefires.com
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift certificate for the value of your return. A gift certificate will be mailed to you once the returned item is received.
If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or the giver shipped the order to themselves to give it to you later, we'll send a refund to the gift giver and they'll be notified of your return.
Returns NL & BE
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire 14 days after the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, acquires physical possession of the good (NOTE: handmade fireplaces and automatic burners cannot be returned) . This is stated for each product in the product description. You will then be credited with the full order amount including shipping costs. Only the costs for returning from your home to the online store are at your own expense. These costs amount to approximately €7.25 per package; consult your carrier's website for the exact rates.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to the company with all accessories supplied and – if reasonably possible – in its original condition and packaging. If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged beyond what is necessary to sell the product, we may charge you for the reduction in value of the product. Therefore, please handle the product with care and ensure it is properly packaged when returning it.

Returns policy for countries outside the Netherlands and Belgium
For customers outside the Netherlands and Belgium, returns will only be accepted if the product was received defective from the supplier. After a thorough inspection by our team, we will confirm the defect status. If the defect is approved, you are entitled to a refund.
The refund will be processed within 14 days of your return being approved and processed back to the original payment method used.
